Chapter 10 - The Masterpiece

Six months later, the ballroom of Grayhaven House was filled with laughter, music, and the bright chatter of family and close friends.
There were no tabloid reporters. No corporate enemies. No cold, calculating business partners.
Instead, the room was bathed in golden spring sunlight. Long tables were draped in white linen, decorated with fresh yellow sunflowers and blue hydrangeas.
In the center of the ballroom stood Graham Mercer, wearing a sharp tuxedo, holding a glass of champagne. But it wasn't his multi-billion-dollar empire, his real estate acquisitions, or his corporate dominance that had brought him to this moment.
It was the little girl in a white lace dress who was currently running around his legs, giggling uncontrollably.
And it was the stunning woman walking down the grand staircase in a breathtaking ivory bridal gown, her hazel eyes locked onto his with an expression of complete and unconditional devotion.
Hannah reached the bottom of the steps, where Graham was waiting. He didn't wait for the applause of the guests; he stepped forward, took her face in his hands, and kissed her deeply, sealing a promise that no contract could ever define and no betrayal could ever break.
The guests cheered, raising their glasses in a toast to the billionaire who had finally found his true wealth.
Later that evening, after the music faded and the estate settled into a quiet, peaceful night, Graham walked up to his private study.
He switched on the desk lamp.
There, resting under a custom glass frame on the mahogany side table—right where the expensive gold watch used to sit—was Ellie's crayon drawing. The yellow sun, the blue butterfly, and the three stick figures holding hands.

Graham reached out, pressing two fingers gently against the glass, right over the center of the drawing.
He didn't need to check his pulse anymore. He could feel it—steady, warm, and entirely alive—beating proudly inside a heart that had finally been painted with love.
