Chapter 6 - A New Beginning
Six months later.
The Grand Ballroom of the Ritz-Carlton was once again filled with sparkling lights, soft music, and laughing guests. But tonight, the atmosphere was entirely different.
Apex Global was celebrating its most profitable quarter in company history under Evelyn’s direct leadership as chairwoman. More importantly, Evelyn had established a massive corporate foundation dedicated to providing educational scholarships and childcare assistance for working-class staff members.
Tonight, there were no VIP velvet ropes. Every employee—from executive directors to line cooks and housekeeping personnel—was invited as an honored guest through the main doors.
Evelyn stood near the center stage wearing an elegant emerald dress. Beside her, Mia wore a little matching dress, her face beaming with joy.
"Mommy, look!" Mia pointed toward the front entrance. "Everyone is coming in through the front doors!"
Evelyn smiled, lifting her daughter into her arms. "That's right, sweetie. Because everyone belongs here."
Arthur Vance stepped up to the microphone, raising a glass of champagne.
"To Apex Global," Arthur announced to the cheering crowd, "and to our Chairwoman, Evelyn Hart—a leader who reminded us all that true leadership isn't measured by the titles we wear, but by how we treat those around us."

The room erupted into enthusiastic applause. Evelyn kissed Mia's cheek as the little girl giggled, surrounded by warmth, respect, and unconditional love.
Justice had been served, the company was restored, and the mother and daughter who had once been dismissed at the door were now leading the way into a brighter, kinder future.
