Chapter 6 - The Melody of Home

Two years later.

The grand courtyard of the Moretti estate was filled with the sounds of a celebration. White flower arches wrapped around the marble pillars of the terrace, and fairy lights twinkled in the trees as twilight settled over the Connecticut hills.

Friends, family, and legitimate business associates gathered around the manicured lawn to celebrate a double occasion: the third birthday of the triplets, and the wedding of Adrien and Clara Moretti.

Clara stood near the garden pavilion in a breathtaking ivory lace gown, her dark hair styled in soft waves. She looked radiant, surrounded by laughter and warm congratulations.

Across the lawn, three-year-old Theo and Miles were tearing around in tiny matching tuxedos, chasing the estate's new rescue golden retriever, while little Nora sat proudly on her father's shoulders, holding a slice of birthday cake.

Six-year-old Sophie walked up to Adrien, wearing a flower girl dress that matched Clara's gown. She held up her old cloth doll, which was now dressed in a tiny matching lace dress of its own.

"Look, Daddy!" Sophie said proudly, beaming up at him. "Lily has a wedding dress too!"

Adrien dropped down to one knee, looking at the little girl who had changed his destiny two years ago. He reached out and gently smoothed her hair.

"She looks beautiful, Sophie," Adrien said softly, his heart full. "Just like your mom."

Sophie giggled, wrapping her tiny arms around Adrien's neck. Adrien picked her up, holding both Sophie and Nora in his arms as Clara walked over to join them.

Clara reached out, sliding her arm through Adrien's, leaning her head against his shoulder as they watched the kids play in the fading light.

"Did you ever think a broken toy could bring us all here?" Clara asked softly, looking up at her husband.

Adrien looked down at Clara, then at Sophie, and finally across the lawn at his thriving triplets.

"The toy was broken, Clara," Adrien said gently, pressing his lips to her forehead. "But it led me to the pieces that made our lives whole."

As the stars began to appear in the clear night sky, the music played on, filling the estate not with fear, silence, or secrets, but with the sweet, enduring harmony of a true family.
