I knew he wanted revenge.

I ignored him.
That only made him angrier.
Then something unexpected happened.
A little girl sitting across the aisle suddenly started coughing.
Hard.
Very hard.
Her mother looked terrified.
The child couldn't breathe properly.
People panicked.
The cabin filled with confusion.
And then the young man behind me did something nobody expected.
He jumped out of his seat.
"I'm a medical student," he shouted.
"Give me space!"
Within seconds he was helping the frightened child.
He remained calm.
Focused.
Professional.
Several tense minutes passed.
Finally, the little girl began breathing normally again.
The entire cabin erupted in applause.
I sat frozen.
The arrogant passenger with the disgusting foot had just become the hero of the flight.
For the first time, I felt guilty.
Maybe I had judged him too quickly.
But moments later, another shocking truth would emerge.
