Speaker Johnson: ‘It Is Bidenomics That Got Us Into This Mess ok’
House Speaker Mike Johnson said that “Bidenomics,” which is marked by high government spending, caused inflation and the current economic problems. Johnson pointed to several successful Republican policies that he says lowered inflation and grew the economy, particularly lower gas prices and strong growth.

During an interview on Fox News, Johnson spoke with co-hosts Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino about the success of Republican economic policies, Democrats’ calls to defund and abolish ICE, and false claims from Democrats about the Stop Insider Trading Act.
“What the President is referring to when he calls [affordability] a ‘hoax’ is the Democrats’ spin; it is Bidenomics that got us into this mess. It is Bidenomics, the outrageous spending levels that drove inflation to 40-year highs, that’s why prices are up now,” Johnson said when asked about Republican efforts to reverse the Democrats’ cost of living crisis.
“We got to work on it immediately in January when Republicans took over the Congress, the House, the Senate, and the White House, and we did exactly what we said we were going to do: bring down inflation, cut taxes and grow the economy. And that’s what all the indicators are saying. Now, inflation is going down, gas prices at a five-year low, the growth rate is over 5%. That would’ve been unimaginable, even conservative economists didn’t think that was possible,” he added.
Johnson continued, “But it is evidence that when our policies are implemented, they work. Trump policies, Republican policies, are doing right by the American people and they’re going to reward that at the ballot box in this upcoming midterm election in November.”
Johnson went on to slam Democrats’ calls to defund and abolish ICE.
“They can’t because Republicans control Congress. This is no time to be playing games with national security and public safety. And that’s what Democrats are doing, beating the drums up here. Remember what ICE stands for? It’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement. They are enforcing the law. They are apprehending the dangerous criminals who were allowed into our country because Joe Biden kept the border wide open for four years,” Johnson said.
“It is estimated more than 20 million people came in, many of them were a great danger to our community. A lot of them have collected in cities like Minneapolis, you know, these sanctuary cities. They’re all there. And so, ICE has to go and do its job. There’s a lot of spin on the Democrat side. They’re assaulting our law enforcement officers and they’re breaking the law. They need to get out of the way and allow federal law enforcement to do its duty that serves all the American people,” he added.

Johnson rounded out his interview by speaking about the New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others pushing “false claims” about the Stop Insider Trading Act.
“AOC is wrong as usual; she clearly hasn’t read the legislation. It bans trading stocks for anyone in Congress. And this is an important step to go forward because there have been a handful of people who have abused that over the years, and they’ve enriched themselves and they’ve engaged in insider trading,” Johnson began.
“It’s against the law, but we have to police it here because it’s people’s belief in, faith and trust in Congress that’s at stake. So, this is a very important step forward. AOC as usual has no idea what she’s talking about. It wasn’t drafted by wealthy lawmakers; it’s by rank-and-file members who are here serving our constituents, and we want to send that signal to the American people that they can trust Congress. This is a big step forward,” he concluded.
White House Hilariously Mocks Kamala Harris For Remarks Ahead of Trump’s Iran Speech

President Trump addressed the nation Wednesday evening to provide an update on the ongoing conflict with Iran.
“I can say tonight that we are on track to complete all of America’s military objectives shortly. Very shortly, we are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,” Trump said. “We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages where they belong. In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.”
Before Trump spoke, failed vice president and 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris thought it would be appropriate to put out a ‘prebuttal’ statement:
“He brought America into a war that people don’t want, he has put American troops in harm’s way, costs are rising by the day, and meanwhile, he has done nothing to address the needs of the people of America,” Harris claimed.
I’ve no idea why Harris believed anyone really wanted to hear her thoughts on the matter, but she obviously, in her own mind, came up with a justification for it.
Isn’t that just like Kamala? She comments on the president’s remarks without actually listening to them—that’s typical of her. When she held office, she often spun narratives about issues she didn’t seem to fully understand, which was nearly all of them.
In the video, she talked about the action against Iran but failed to mention how the Biden-Harris administration has inadvertently supported the terrorist regime by easing sanctions and releasing billions of dollars in frozen assets during a prisoner exchange.
White House spokesperson Anna Kelly was having none of it and used Harris’ own comment about coconut trees (remember that?) to flatten her:
“Kamala Harris oversaw the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan and ushered in an invasion of migrant criminals into our homeland. She should listen to the overwhelming majority of Americans who want her to crawl under a coconut tree and go away.”
Thirteen service members were killed directly due to the failures of the Biden-Harris administration. It is important to remember how out of control things became, from the border crisis to rampant inflation and high prices during their reign of terror.
There were many issues that Trump had to address due to the mess left by Biden and Harris. Harris should really take all the seats so we can be free from what has transpired. I can’t point to a single positive thing she has done. However, in that video, she seemed to be giving off vibes suggesting she might run in 2028, which is typical for her—showing little substance.
Despite this, she is still leading in some polls for the Democratic nomination in 2028.
Please, Democrats, consider putting her up again. It would be the best way to ensure a Republican wins in 2028. Feel free to spend more billions on a losing effort with the “word salad queen.” Every time I see her, I am reminded of how fortunate we are to have dodged a bullet.
Bondi Torches Dem Over Epstein Flight Log Release: ‘Did You Take Money?’
Attorney General Pam Bondi obliterated Illinois Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin over the Jeffrey Epstein files.
During a Senate Judiciary Hearing on Tuesday, Tennessee Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn was brought up because she has pushed for the release of Epstein files in the past.

Bondi and Blackburn asserted that Durbin was impeding the effort, but Durbin refuted this, despite records indicating he had indeed blocked the release.
Blackburn and Bondi tag-teamed Durbin after he denied a subpoena for the flight logs and knowing Reid Hoffman, a known Epstein affiliate.
“I find it very interesting that you refused repeated Republican requests to release the Epstein flight log in 2023 and 2024, you fought that. Did you take money from Reid Hoffman campaign donations?” Bondi said.
Durbin denied taking donations from Hoffman, but Hoffman has given millions to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), which supports Durbin as a top Senate Democrat.
Bondi shot back: “Why did you fight to not disclose the flight logs, Senator Durbin?”
Durbin falsely claimed that he “did not” fight against” Blackburn’s subpoena, adding, “I asked you if you wanted any documents like flight logs to put it in writing. You never did.”
Blackburn shot back: “Yes, sir, I did. And your staff knows that I did. We’ll submit once again, the information to you. We’ve done that several times, but we’ll be happy to once again send it to you. I think your staff doesn’t show that to you.”

Bondi made it clear with her opening statement that she planned to correct many lies from Democrats in recent weeks.
“They are a critical reminder of our central mission here at the Department of Justice protecting the safety and security of the American people. That is why, even when the government is otherwise shut down because of the Democrats, the department’s law enforcement officers and prosecutors are hard at work, fighting crime, keeping our streets safe and protecting you from the threats, foreign and domestic. When I was confirmed as the 80 seventh attorney general of the United States, I took office with to mangles to in the weapon, is nation of justice and return the department to it’s core mission of fighting violent crime as to ending the weapon possession of justice. We learn that former FBI secretly investigated you and your colleagues why they wanted to take president,” Bondi began.
“Trump off the playing field. They were playing politics with law enforcement powers and will go down as a historic. The trail of public trust, this is the kind of conduct that shatters the American people’s faith in our law enforcement system. We will work to earn that back every single day,” she added.
“We are returning to our core mission of fighting real crime. While there is more work to do, I believe in eight short months we have made tremendous progress towards those ends. Our federal surges in Washington D.C. in memphis are a perfect example of how the Department of Justice should operate week created strong partnerships with local leadership working hand in hand with both cities to send resources where they were needed. Most, the results speak for themselves,” she added.

Our civil rights attorneys are fighting discrimination and anti Semitism. Our criminal attorneys are prosecuting violent criminals and foreign terrorist every single day. I look forward to continuing this work at the Department of Justice and I look forward to testifying before you today,” Bondi added.
