Their holiday tradition centers on a dish not for the faint of heart: a towering, gravity-defying timpano dome. For those unfamiliar, a timpano is less a meal and more an architectural project—layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and sauce carefully assembled inside a large bowl, baked until sealed, then flipped into a perfect dome. Done right, it’s breathtaking. Done wrong, it becomes chaos.

This year, Blake was determined to get it right.

 

 

For hours, the couple worked side by side in their Oklahoma kitchen, which Gwen says looked nothing like a celebrity home by the end of it.
